GUEST ARTIST WORKSHOP : OCTOBER 15 -17, 2025

Central New York Watercolor Society 

           

 Our upcoming workshop instructor for October 2025 is Linda Wokoun.

Originally from Chicago and

transplanted to Southwest Florida, she enjoys painting full-time and teaching in person

and on Zoom. About her painting, she says “I enjoy leveraging the natural characteristic of

water to bring energy and movement to my painting.”

Her approach leans towards the abstract representation of what she sees.

She uses flowing wet into wet paint application and uses negative painting at the end to

define shapes and add depth.

Linda is a signature member of the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society where she is a past- President

and has regularly exhibited and won awards. She is a member of the Florida Watercolor Society as well as the

Transparent Watercolor Society of America.

at Burrstone Inn, New Hartford for her workshop, and October 18 for the CNYWS annual meeting.
