Annual Meeting

This two day event is held in the fall each year. A nationally known guest artist is brought in to present a full day workshop and demonstrations. On Friday evening several of our members offer demonstrations which are open to the public.  This year's meeting is scheduled for September 12 & 13, 2008 at Dibble's Inn, Vernon , NY.  Our guest artist will be John Salminen, AWS-DF, NWS of Duluth MN.

Shows and Exhibits

Each year the Society presents three art shows of member work.
Our major show is the Annual Juried Show. This show is open to all of our Signature and Associate Members. This  year the show will be held at the Edith Barrett Art Gallery at Utica College, Utica, NY during the month of September 2008.

We are asking each artist submitting work to the juried show to send an email
with the following information to Carlton Crittenden  robertscrittenden@verizon.net 
If you do not have email please send the information to Carlton Crittenden, 947 Route 31 Bridgeport, NY 13030.  Type written if possible.  If your statement will
not fit on the card editing may be necessary.

       A short 200 words or less Artist's Statement or Biographical material.
 This will be placed on a 3 x 5 card and displayed next to the painting.

 

The Society presents two shows each year which are limited to the work of Signature Members. In 2008 the first of these shows was held at the Stone Quarry Hill Art Park in Cazenovia, NY.   May 4 to July 6.  The second show was at the Earlville Opera House in
Earlville, NY,  June 13 to July 26, 2008
